We've had a busy week, as always, so here's some highlights!

Another harvest of yummy basil. We've put up almost a dozen batches of pesto this summer, and we'll be enjoying the taste of summer all winter long!

Another awesome trip to Vashon, where we enjoyed the harvests of Barb and Doug amazing garden, including sweet corn! There was excellent rainshowers, good meals shared with friends, and lots of games!

Picking a ton of blackberries at the farm

Which Kevin made into a gorgeous and delicious pie! Yum!

Growing freak spinach has been a highlight of the summer! Harvested about 10 cups worth to make a yummy rice and spinach casserole!

Seeing my family yesterday to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday! Jackson was of course the center of attention most of the time! What a cutie!
This week, Kevin and I are attempting to not have quite such a full schedule in order to really start looking for a house to buy. We've got an agent, and we've gotten preapproved on our loan, so now we just have to find the house! Going to a few open houses today, maybe the one will be in there! Then it's back to catch some of the Hawks game, followed by a party at Jeff's house where all the food must come in the shape of a ball! Fun times!
