Woohoo! The best part is that it was in the nesting box! They hadn't even set foot in it until yesterday, instincts are amazing...and so are my nesting box design skills!
To Adam....just couldn't resist it...sorry.... My guess is the little guys will be yolkless. You could blow them out and have a little souvenir. Yes, come Spring your frig will be full! Now that you have chickens maybe we should get rid of ours and get eggs from you!

I think one of our little ones laid an egg this week, but it was broken. The shell was all rubbery, like it was still working out the kinks.
Are you sharing the first one? Who gets to eat it?
